HOT ROD is a an impeccable 42 ft. Cabo Flybridge sportfisher and is one of the hottest fishing boats around – taking 1st place in the Bisbee East Cape Tournament in 2015 and netting a $366,500.00 prize. Hot Rod has a top speed of 33 knots and can turn on a dime. Captain Erick keeps his vessel squeaky clean and in top shape. The salon offers a perfect air-conditioned escape from the hot sun. The comfy L shaped sofa offers seating for up to six guests. A couple of steps up from the salon the dinette can be found; a great place to have lunch comfortably. Satellite TV is provided so you can catch a game while trolling, CD player and USB for you to play your favorite music along with an IPOD plug in. Wi-Fi is a nice feature seldom found on fishing boats of this size. The galley is well equipped with a microwave, stove, toaster and coffee make. Three steps down leads you to the staterooms; the master has a queen size bed and the other has bunks. The cockpit has a Pompanette Professional fighting chair, refrigerated fish box and large ice maker to keep your catch cold, as well as full tackle center... The large bait well can hold up to 40 baits in the cockpit and there is an additional bait tank on the bow for not missing a beat when the bite is hot. The flybridge has plenty of shade seating for guests and is a great place to spot fish from. Electronics are a Furuno sonar & water temperature gauge, Northstar GPS & Fish. Captain Erick Orozco is a Cabo San Lucas native – now in his mid-30’s, he has been fishing professionally since he was 13 years old, and he speaks good English. His biggest fish to date is an 836 lb. blue marlin. He has taken top honors in the Rolex IGFA World Offshore Championship & has twice won the Bisbee East Cape. He also placed first in the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament. He enjoys any and every kind of fishing but is particularly thrilled to fish for big marlin and big tuna.

Extra guests: The maximum number of guests is shown on the booking pages however please ask us if you would like to book a specific boat but invite more guests as this can often be accomodated. There is a small charge per each additional person. (Excludes our 28ft and 31ft boats which only have fixed guest numbers).
